It can be the same as your resource or your resource category title.\n<ul>\n<li>This text will be shown publicly (in resource selection, error messages, etc.)\n<li>If the resource is hidden, this text will be used in the error messages.<\/ul>\n<li>&#8220;<strong>Resource<\/strong>&#8220;: Select the resource to allocate. Alternatively, you can select a resource category. Click the &#8220;+&#8221; icon next to the selectbox to select multiple values.\n<ul>\n<li>It is useful to select a resource category here instead of a resource if you have a high turnover. In that case, you can add or remove resources in the future without having to change the allocations settings.<\/ul>\n<li>&#8220;<strong>Assignment Order<\/strong>&#8220;: Define the order in which resources will be assigned. Choose &#8220;<strong>Custom &#8211; strict (without optimization)<\/strong>&#8221; if you want the defined order to be respected even if the resources can accommodate more people than necessary.\n<ul>\n<li>This field only appears if multiple resources are selected or if a resource category containing multiple resources is selected.<\/ul>\n<li>&#8220;<strong>Resource selection<\/strong>&#8220;: Set it to &#8220;Let the user choose the resource&#8221; to allow the customer to manually choose the resource tthat will be assigned, if there are multiple possibilities.\n<ul>\n<li>This field only appears if multiple resources are selected or if a resource category containing multiple resources is selected.\n<li>You need to add the &#8220;Resource selection&#8221; field in your booking form.<\/ul>\n<li>&#8220;<strong>Quantity selection<\/strong>&#8220;:\n<ul>\n<li>&#8220;<strong>Let the user choose the resource quantity<\/strong>&#8220;: allow the customer to input the desired quantity of each resources.\n<li>&#8220;<strong>Let the user distribute the booking quantity<\/strong>&#8220;: allow the customer to input the number of people per resource.\n<li>This field appears only if the &#8220;<strong>Resource selection<\/strong>&#8221; option is set to &#8220;Let the user choose the resource&#8221;, or if there is only one resource allocated.\n<li>You need to add the &#8220;Resource selection&#8221; field in your booking form.<\/ul>\n<li>&#8220;<strong>Required<\/strong>&#8220;: Disable this option to allow the customer to choose whether or not they want this resource.\n<ul>\n<li>If the resource is optional, no resource will be assigned by default; the customer must select it manually on the booking form.\n<li>In this case, you must add the &#8220;Resource Selection&#8221; field to your booking form.<\/ul>\n<li>&#8220;<strong>Default Selection<\/strong>&#8220;: Choose which option is selected by default on the booking form. You can choose the specific resource, the &#8220;Any&#8221; option which will automatically select one, or leave the field blank.\n<ul>\n<li>This field only appears if the customer has a choice between several resources, or if the resource is optional (unless only one resource is allocated and the customer can choose its quantity).\n<li>You must add the &#8220;Resource Selection&#8221; field to your booking form.<\/ul>\n<li>&#8220;<strong>Quantity<\/strong>&#8220;: How many resources should be assigned (in most cases, &#8220;1&#8221;). If the resource is assigned per booking, this number will be multiplied by the number of bookings.\n<li>&#8220;<strong>Per booking<\/strong>&#8220;: Turn it ON to assign one resource to each booking. Turn it OFF to assign one resource to the whole event.\n<li>&#8220;<strong>Allow combining resources<\/strong>&#8220;: Turn it ON to allow to assign different kind of resources to the same booking. If this option is OFF, only one kind of resource can be assigned to a booking.\n<ul>\n<li>This field appears only if the &#8220;Per booking&#8221; option is ON and if there are multiple resources selected, or a resource category selected.<\/ul>\n<li>&#8220;<strong>Can be replaced with<\/strong>&#8220;: Select the resources allocated to your groups of events that could replace this resource.\n<ul>\n<li>This field appears only if the &#8220;Per booking&#8221; option is OFF.\n<li>This is important if you have allocated the same resource to a group of events that includes this activity.<\/ul>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"group-allocation\">Allocate a resource to a group of events<\/h3>\n<p>The resources allocated to your activities will be assigned when a booking is made. They will be assigned even if the event is included in a group of events.<\/p>\n<p>You can allocate resource specifically to your groups of events, so they are assigned only if the group is booked.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Open the desired group category settings\n<li>Go to the &#8220;Availability&#8221; tab\n<\/ul>\n<p>Here you can find the same settings as the activity, and one additional &#8220;Activity resources that should not be assigned&#8221; option. If you book an event, the system will check if a resource is available and assign it.
