The Advanced Forms<\/a> add-on allows you to save the values of your custom fields<\/strong> directly in the user data<\/strong>, rather than in the booking data, so that customers do not have to enter it with each reservation<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Edit user custom fields<\/h3>\n

It was possible to enter them by the customers when they register<\/strong>, and by the administrator from Users > All users > the user<\/strong>. But the customers themselves could not change the values afterwards.<\/p>\n

Now you can give your customers the ability to edit their custom field values at any time.<\/p>\n

\nWith a shortcode<\/strong>
\nThe [bookingactivities_user_custom_fields]<\/code> shortcode displays a form that allows the customers to edit the custom field values associated with their account<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

By default, this form will only display fields having a value<\/strong> associated with the user currently logged in. But you can configure this shortcode<\/strong> to display custom fields of your choice<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

\nGo to Booking Activities > Settings > WooCommerce tab > “Custom fields in My Account”<\/strong> to define the custom fields whose value the customer can modify directly from their account (“Account details” tab)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

  • “None”<\/strong>: do not allow<\/strong> customers to edit custom field values associated with their account\n
  • “Custom fields previously filled in”<\/strong> (default): Shows fields with a value<\/strong> only\n
  • Custom selection<\/strong>: click on the “+” icon next to the select box to choose the custom fields to display<\/strong>\n<\/ul>\n

    Pre-fill booking forms<\/h3>\n

    Along the same lines, a new field<\/strong> has been added: “Save custom field values”<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

    It’s a checkbox that you can add to your booking forms<\/strong>. If customers check it before confirming their reservation, the form will be pre-filled with the same information the next time they want to make a reservation<\/strong> via this form.<\/p>\n

    To replace this information, simply make a new reservation with other information (and check that box).<\/p>\n
