Version 1.9 of the Prices and Credits add-on allows you to send automated notifications to alert the customer when their booking pass balance is low or when it is about to expire.
Notification: Low Balance
You can now send automated notifications when a customer’s booking pass balance drops below X credits. You can configure this credit threshold to suit your needs.
You can also notify the administrator. Two new notifications have been added to the list:
- For the customer: “Booking pass balance is running low”
- For the administrator: “Customer’s booking pass balance is running low”

If you use the Notification Pack add-on alongside the Prices and Credits add-on, you will have access to two additional notifications:
- For the customer: “A booking pass is about to expire”
- For the administrator: “Customer’s booking pass is about to expire”
These notifications are automatically sent X days/hours/minutes before the booking pass expiration date. You can set the timeframe to your liking, configure them to be sent after the pass expires, or even create multiple notifications at different intervals.
This allows you, for example, to notify the customer one week before the pass expiration date, invite them to renew their pass on the day it expires, and send a reminder three days later.
Note that if the max event start date is earlier than the pass’s expiration date, then the earlier date applies. For example, if your pass expires on December 31 but only allows you to book events starting before November 11, then the applicable date is November 11 (since the pass becomes unusable after that point anyway).
Finally, you can filter notifications by booking pass template. This allows you to customize your notifications and marketing automation based on the pass template. This filter is also available for low-balance notifications, provided you have the Notification Pack add-on.
